Keep useful natural sound
Paws, breathing, vocalizations and environmental sound can provide more character and information than continuous music. Leave them audible when they are part of the real moment.
Do not stage unsafe behaviour
A soundtrack never justifies startling, restraining or provoking an animal for content. If the footage depends on discomfort, choose different footage rather than a more playful track.
