Common permitted uses

Subject to the complete license terms, purchased sounds may be synchronized into finished monetized social content, sponsored posts, digital ads, websites, podcasts, online courses, presentations and finished client productions.

What you may not do

Do not resell, share or redistribute the standalone audio files. Do not claim authorship or ownership, and do not register the music or a derivative in Content ID, rights-management, collecting-society or similar ownership systems.

Working with clients and editors

You may deliver finished content to a client. An employee or contractor may access the files only to create a project for you; they may not retain or reuse the audio for unrelated work.

Uses that need an extended license

Television, radio, cinema, games, apps, physical products, public events and other broadcast uses sit outside the standard digital license. Contact STIS before use.

Credit and support

Credit is appreciated but not required under the standard license. If you want to add it, use “Music by STIS.” For licensing or claim support, contact [email protected].
